Shelby Park Rehabilitation - Area 7 - Forrest Green

Construction begins this week on the Shelby Park Rehabilitation - Area 7 - Forrest Green project. This project was developed to renew aging infrastructure and address overflows by reducing the amount of rainfall that can enter the system through defects. It consists of the evaluation and rehabilitation, as necessary, of approximately 33,030 linear feet of existing gravity sewer, approximately 176 manholes, and associated service laterals within Metro’s rights-of-way and easements.
