Mill Creek Trunk Improvements and Equalization Facility

This project consists of conveyance capacity upgrades of approximately 18,400 linear feet along Mill Creek, 60 million gallon of additional equalization storage, and a wet weather pump station with a 100 million gallon per day peak pumping capacity. Although the route of the conveyance improvements has not been determined yet, the increased conveyance capacity will address existing restrictions within the sewer system that result in overflows along Mill Creek and will direct flow to the pump station and storage tanks. The peak wastewater flows are stored until the flows in the system recede, and the stored volume can be conveyed through the system to treatment. It is anticipated that a Construction Manager at Risk will be selected to partner with the designer and the Owner for input during design and to manage, coordinate, and schedule the multiple disciplines of project construction.
