Clean Water Nashville Program supports the Cumberland River Compact by entering the Dragon Boat Race!

Each year the Cumberland River compact hosts the Cumberland River Dragon boat festival, which includes a daylong series of Dragon boat races along the Cumberland River at Riverfront Park. This year the Clean Water Nashville Program supported the festival, including entering a team in the Dragon Boat race competition held on September 7.

And the results? The team finished first in each of their first two heats, taking them into the finals, the third heat. The team finished the day with an overall 16th place finish, and a time of 1:06:566, an improvement of 8.6 seconds from last year's time of 01:15.141!
