Mill Creek Trunk Improvements and Equalization Facility

This project consists of conveyance capacity upgrades of approximately 18,400 linear feet along Mill Creek, four 15 million gallon equalization storage tanks, and a wet weather pump station with a 100 million gallon per day peak pumping capacity. Although the route of the conveyance improvements has not been determined yet, the increased conveyance capacity will address existing restrictions within the sewer system that result in overflows along Mill Creek and will direct flow to the pump station and storage tanks. The peak wastewater flows are stored until the flows in the system recede, and the stored volume can be conveyed through the system to treatment.
